Aberfeldy – 21 Year Old Limited Release (2015) (70cl, 40%)

Aberfeldy 21 Year Old is a Highland single malt released by the distillery in 2015 as a limited edition, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Each bottle is individually numbered. It was matured in a mix of first fill casks, refill hogsheads and sherry butts, which gives a honeyed, fruity and lightly spiced whisky. The expected nose is honey, dried fruit, orange peel and light spices. On the palate come soft sherry notes, vanilla, toffee, warm spices and elegant oak. The finish is long, sweet and creamy.
