This is Aberfeldy 25 Year Old, a Highland single malt bottled in 2003 in an edition of 150 bottles. It comes in its original dark wood presentation case.
The whisky spent 25 years maturing in oak casks. It was bottled in a tall, older-style bottle rather than the shorter, rounder shape now used for the distillery's whisky.
The nose is sweet with honey, and the finish is lingering with dark fruit.
