This Dailuaine was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2026 by Adelphi at 56.7% ABV, after 15 years in cask 310226, a refill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead that yielded 261 bottles. In a second fill, the cask passes on the richness of Pedro Ximénez with restraint, bringing caramel, candied citrus and pastry.
The nose has salted butter caramel ice cream, candied lemon, early autumn leaves and forest after rain, then whipped cream, honeysuckle, almond croissant and Christmas beer. The palate offers key lime pie, nougat, St-Germain, sponge cake, icing sugar, gooseberry, bitter orange rum and Vichy pastilles. The finish is ample and generous, round yet still lively.
