Adelphi Maclean's Nose Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Maclean's Nose is a blended Scotch whisky from Adelphi in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% without chill filtering and with natural colour. It was blended for a West Coast character, with a malt content of 70% and a high proportion of ex-sherry casks. The label uses paper made from crushed barley, a by-product of whisky production. The colour is burnished gold. The nose offers burnt citrus peel, sea salt and bonfire, with nectarine syrup and lime marmalade. The palate brings puffed rice, rice pudding and white chocolate, then lime pickle, burning heather and smoked praline.
