Adelphi Private Stock is a blended Scotch whisky from the independent bottler Adelphi, whose history goes back to 1826. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The blend brings together malt and grain whiskies, matured in a mix of ex-bourbon American oak and European oak casks.
On the nose it is delicate, with orchard fruits, honey, vanilla and light oak, plus a hint of peat. The palate offers malted barley, caramel, ripe apple and light spice. The finish is medium in length, with lingering sweetness, gentle oak and a little smoke.
