Adelphi The Glover 10th Anniversary 7 Year Old First Fill Bourbon (70cl, 54.5%)

The Glover 10th Anniversary is an Adelphi bottling marking ten years of a partnership between Scottish Ardnamurchan and Japanese Chichibu. It is 7 years old and bottled at 54.5% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is unpeated and matured in two first-fill bourbon casks. The edition numbers 347 bottles and the whisky has a bright straw colour. The nose offers crisp apple, ripe mango, light wax, linseed oil, walnut skin, lime marmalade and rhubarb. The palate is lively and structured, with candied lemon, vanilla, ginger, nutmeg, lime tart, white peach and macadamia nut. The finish is long and lemony, with a gently waxy note.
