Aikan Extra Collection (43%)

Aikan Extra Collection is a Japanese whisky bottled at 43%. It comes from the Eigashima distillery in Hyogo prefecture, one of the oldest whisky distilleries in Japan, and sits within the Aikan range. The name evokes aesthetic appreciation and contemplation. On the nose it is floral, with pear, apple, honey, light vanilla and soft spice. The palate has a silky texture with stone fruit, subtle caramel, malted cereal and a hint of oriental spice.
