Akashi Pedro Ximénez is a 4 year old single malt from Eigashima, a distillery that has been working for over half a century. It was matured in a Pedro Ximenez cask and released for Whisky Messe 2022. The cask added fruity and spicy notes to a smooth spirit. Expect dried berries, sticky dates, plenty of toffee and cinnamon spice, with hints of fresh sea salt flakes behind them.
