Ailsa Bay (48.9%)

Ailsa Bay is a Lowland single malt from the distillery of the same name at Girvan in Ayrshire. William Grant & Sons founded the distillery in 2007, and it takes its name from a rocky island visible from the site. Bottled at 48.9% ABV, it has a smoky, maritime character that is unusual for the Lowlands. The distillery uses its own malting and peating process to produce different levels of smoke.
