This is a five-year-old single malt from Eigashima, sold under the Akashi White Oak name and first released on the Japanese market at the end of 2017.
It spent all five years maturing in first-fill bourbon barrels. It was bottled at 50% ABV, is non-chill-filtered and carries no added colour, so the whisky reaches the glass as it came from the cask.
