Akashi – Toji White Oak Japanese Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Akashi Toji White Oak is a Japanese whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Akashi is made by a Toji, a grand master of sake brewing, who brings sake-making methods into the whisky process. The distillery uses a pot still smaller than those found in Scottish and other Japanese distilleries, which lowers the level of fusel alcohol. As a result, the whisky does not need as long an ageing period, and the malt is smooth and delicate.
