This is a 5 year old Japanese single malt whisky from Akashi, in a 75cl bottle. It was aged in American oak casks that previously held Kijoushu, a rich, concentrated and sweet style of sake.
The nose has walnut and vanilla with a hint of peat. The palate is crisp and malty, with vanilla and a mellow, soft texture balanced by white chocolate and almond. The finish is drying, with black tea and leather.
