Akashi White Oak Konara Single Cask 10 Years #60501

Akashi White Oak Konara Single Cask is a ten-year-old Japanese whisky from Eigashima, matured in a Konara oak cask and bottled as a single cask, number 60501. It is the first 10-year full maturation in a Konara cask from White Oak. Konara oak is the smaller relative of Mizunara oak and develops a very similar flavour. The whisky is full-bodied, with intense wood character, robust spice, vanilla and dried fruit, followed by a long, warm finish.
