Akkeshi Sarorunkamuy 2021 is a single malt from the Akkeshi Distillery in northern Japan, named after the Ainu deity of the northern wilds.
The nose brings ripe apple and pear with vanilla, a little oak, caramel and spice. On the palate there is sweet malt, dried fruit and a gentle smokiness in a smooth, velvety texture.
The finish is long and warm, with spice and a hint of honey.
