This is a 21 year old Allt-a-Bhainne from Speyside, distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2013 in Douglas Laing's Old Particular range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 51.5% ABV.
The whisky was matured in a single refill hogshead, which gave 332 bottles.
The nose is crisp and clean, with sugar, autumn fruits and barley. The palate is spiced and peppery, coating the mouth, with vanilla fudge, malt and syrup. The finish leans towards cinnamon, with burnt sugar and more fruit and spice.
