Alpenglow Version Française 2015 is an unpeated French whisky bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is warm, with honey and sandstone minerality, baked apple, poached pear and buttery pastry notes, and mimosa as it opens. The palate is rich and oily, with honey sweets, cinnamon and vanilla, candied citrus, frangipane, blond tobacco and toasted wood. The finish is very long, with mead-like honey, apple turning to prune, and spice.
