A wheated bourbon from Amador Whiskey Co., distilled in Kentucky and finished in California. The spirit was first aged for three years in new charred American oak, then moved to medium toast French oak Chardonnay barrels in Napa Valley for 9 to 12 months.
The Chardonnay barrels add vanilla and a creamy mouthfeel. It is described as showing vanilla, caramel, butterscotch and roasted almonds, with hints of honey and tobacco, and it ends on a long finish.
