anCnoc – 12 Years (70cl, 40%)

This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from anCnoc, bottled by The Knockdhu Distillery Company at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The label records that it was distilled, matured and bottled in Scotland, and gives 1894 as the year the distillery was established. Unlike others in the distillery's range, this one has not been matured in sherry casks. The nose is layered, with honey, fresh flowers and cereal. On the palate, sweetness, spice, chocolate and cereal sit in good balance.
