Barrow is a limited edition Highland single malt from anCnoc, bottled at 46% in a one litre bottle. The name refers to the barrow once used to bring the peat in after the harvest. It is peated to 13.5 ppm, and it is bottled non chill-filtered and at natural colour by the Knockdhu Distillery Company, which was established in 1894. The nose is rich, with peat first, then a touch of orange, apple and mocha ice cream. The palate is smoky over a sweet background.
