A Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Angel's Envy, bottled at 46% ABV. It is aged in American oak and then given a second maturation in French oak barrels.
The double-oak finish defines this small batch, limited edition release, and brings out cinnamon, baking spice and warm wood.
The nose is toasted oak, dark spice and warm vanilla. On the palate come cinnamon, nutmeg, roasted nuts and creamy oak, followed by a long, smooth finish with warm spice and a little sweetness.
