This Annandale Man O' Words is a Founders' Selection single cask, distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2023 at a natural cask strength of 58.7%. It matured in a refill ex-bourbon cask and is unpeated, from the line inspired by Robert Burns. It is non-chill-filtered and uncoloured. The profile combines green apple and juicy pear with vanilla and caramel, with malt, nutty touches, light spice and oak. On the nose, vanilla and caramel lead, with fine oak. The palate balances sweet and spicy notes, with a touch of citrus. The finish is long and warming, with oak lingering.
