Annandale – Storyman 2nd Edition (70cl, 46%)

Annandale Storyman 2nd Edition is a blended Scotch whisky from the Lowlands, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made in small batches and built around Annandale's own single malt, Man O' Words, together with other malt and grain whiskies. The blend draws on a mix of vintages and spirit types, matured in fresh and refill ex-Bourbon casks and ex-Burgundy STR casks. James Cosmo chose the final blend. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Toffee, creamy caramel, cooked apple and soaked raisins show on the nose. The palate is fruity and lightly spiced, and the finish is nutty with a sweet aftertaste.
