Uisge nan Diathan is an 11 year old Islay single cask bottling from Arcanum Spirits, in a 70cl bottle at 58.9% ABV. Only 293 bottles were filled.
The whisky was distilled on 10 May 2011 and bottled on 25 May 2022. It matured in a French Grand Cru red wine barrique, and the name, which means water of the gods, nods to that wine origin.
The nose shows the smoke and peat expected of Islay, deep and rounded rather than overpowering.
