Ardara Single Malt Irish Whiskey 2025 Edition (46%)

Ardara Single Malt is an Irish whiskey from The Ardara Distillery in Donegal, bottled at 46%. The distillery makes heavily peated whiskeys from an all-grain process, rooted in Donegal's illicit distilling heritage. Every batch is triple-distilled and begins maturing in a Solera vat. The 2025 Edition is made up of 47% oloroso sherry casks, 45% bourbon and 8% virgin oak. The nose is sweet, fruity and nutty with a hint of waxiness under sweet pipe smoke. On the palate come hot beignets, poached pears, roasted coconut, almond, leather, rolled tobacco and campfire smoke, ending on sweet baked apple.
