Ardbeg – 10 Year Old 1998 Single Cask (2010)

This is a ten-year-old single cask Islay malt from Ardbeg. The spirit was filled into a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel, number 368, on 17 March 1998 and bottled at natural cask strength in March 2010. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The barrel gave 240 numbered bottles, each signed by the distillery manager. It is described as tarry smoke wrapped in vanilla cream, toasted coconut and zesty citrus.
