Ardbeg 10 Year Old is an official Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled without chill filtration, a return to a more traditional way of presenting the whisky, and it is known as the most heavily peated of the Islay malts.
The colour is gold with green reflections.
The nose is smoky with notes of tobacco. The palate is fresh and oily, very smoky, malty and briny, and the long, salty finish comes back to peat.
