Airigh Nam Beist is an Ardbeg single malt distilled in 1990 and released between 2006 and 2008. The name is Gaelic for The Shelter of the Beast. It was matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky pairs powerful peat smoke with richness, and the oak does not dominate. Its flavours include smoked citrus, tar, espresso, dark chocolate and liquorice, over medicinal peat and maritime salinity.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
