Ardbeg An Oa is a peated Islay single malt, first released in 2017. It is named after the Mull of Oa, the wild cliffs at the south-western tip of the island, and is pronounced An Oh. Three types of cask are married together: Spanish Pedro Ximénez wine casks for sweetness, charred oak casks for spice and former bourbon casks for intensity. The result is a smoky whisky that is sweet and round, with the power of Ardbeg behind it.
