Distillery
Ardbeg
Region
Islay
Type
Single Malt Whisky
A permanent expression from Ardbeg, the Islay distillery, named after the Mull of Oa. This is the wildest part of the island, where cliffs face the storms and waves of the Atlantic on one side and shelter the distillery from strong winds on the other. An Oa is built around contrasts between intensity and softness, reflecting the meeting of storm and calm in that place.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
