Ardbeg Anthology 13 Years Old is a limited-edition single malt from the Ardbeg distillery on Islay. It spent 13 years in former Sauternes wine casks, a first for the distillery, and was then married with Ardbeg's classic ex-bourbon casks. The aim was to set the distillery's peated character against the sweetness of the Sauternes wood. It is described as combining peat smoke with vanilla, candied fruit and honey.
