Ardbeg Corryvreckan is an intense, full-flavoured whisky made from malted barley and matured for several years in oak casks. In the glass it is a bright golden yellow. The nose is varied and intense, with ripe fruit and citrus peel, bitter cocoa and liquorice, and hints of resin and medicinal herbs underneath. The palate starts soft and fruity before turning warm and rich. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant spiciness.
