Corryvreckan is an Islay single malt from Ardbeg, made from malted barley and aged in oak casks. It takes its name from the whirlpool off the Scottish coast and is bottled at 57.1% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is briny, with seaweed and a touch of citrus. On the palate, peat smoke meets dark chocolate and espresso, and the finish is warming and lingering.
