The smoke of Ardbeg is set alongside malt sweetness and a coastal note.
On the nose there is peat smoke, malt sweetness, citrus and warm oak. The palate is rich and layered, with smoky peat, sweet malt, vanilla, spice and a hint of coast. The finish is long and warming, smoky with lingering sweetness and a little gentle ash.
