Ardbeg Drum is a Committee Release single malt from Islay, bottled at 52% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in ex-rum casks.
The bottle pays homage to the colourful floats on the final day of the Ardbeg Day Carnival, a festival themed around the tropics. The rum finish is meant to evoke the tropical Americas, and the flavours include pine resin, wood smoke, ripe banana and pineapple.
