Ardbeg Heavy Vapours is the Ardbeg Day 2023 release, a single malt bottled at 46% ABV. For this expression the purifier on the still was deliberately left out of use, so the heavier vapours were allowed to prevail. The result is darker flavours and notes. The whisky is described as complex, with unfettered smokiness and heady dark chocolate overtones.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
