Ardbeg Scorch is an Islay single malt bottled at 46% for Ardbeg Day, the distillery's yearly celebration. It is a limited edition.
The whisky was matured in toasted bourbon casks that were charred almost to destruction. Ardbeg's peat comes from barley malted in Port Ellen, at around 50 ppm, and the water is drawn from Loch Uigeadail, three miles from the distillery.
