Ardbeg Spectacular is the 2024 Ardbeg Day release, an Islay single malt bottled at 46%. It is the first time Ardbeg Spectacular has been matured in port wine casks, alongside ex-bourbon casks.
The notes range from lavender, vetiver and incense candles to almond, damp peat and woodsmoke, with creosote and tar. Leather and minty chocolate follow, leading to pear crumble and salted caramel fudge.
