A 19 year old Islay single malt from Ardbeg, released as a small batch. It was matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The name comes from Traigh Bhan beach on Islay, known locally as the Singing Sands, which inspired the release.
The nose offers herbal pine resin, smoky pineapple and dark chilli chocolate. On the palate, peaty power builds into smoky depths. The finish brings toasted oak and paprika, ending gently but lingering long.
