Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Years Old Batch 4 is an Islay single malt and the fourth batch in the Traigh Bhan series, named after the beach on Islay known as the Singing Sands. It is a limited edition, released under batch code TB/04-07.03.2003/22.CG.
The whisky spent 19 years maturing in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings pine resin, fennel and lime sorbet, with eucalyptus, hazelnut and vanilla beneath. On the palate come wood smoke, dark chocolate, lemon cream and peanut brittle. The finish is long, with peaty sweetness and warming spice.
