Ardbeg – Uigeadail

Ardbeg Uigeadail is an Islay single malt bottled at cask strength. It marries Ardbeg matured in bourbon barrels with whisky from sherry butts, which gives a sweet and smoky finish. Uigeadail is the loch from which all of Ardbeg's water flows. The distillery was established by the MacDougall family in 1815 and is heavily peated. Tasting notes lead with sweet ripe fruit and black forest honey, with a good helping of malt, then powerful peat and smoked barley.
