This is a 27 year old Highland single malt from Ardmore, bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society under code 66.268 as a World Cup 2026 special called We'll Be Dramming. It vats two ex-bourbon hogsheads: one stayed in bourbon, while the other was moved at 25 years old into a first fill American oak Oloroso hogshead before the two were married. 320 bottles were produced. The nose brings tobacco, brandy-soaked marzipan, confit tangerine, honey and dried apricot. The palate carries smoked cheese, chutney, black pepper and charcoal. The finish has lemon sorbet, hickory smoke and a cooling menthol note.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
