This is an Islay single malt from Ardnahoe, the distillery's second release, which came out in 2024. The peaty water of Loch Ardnahoe was used in its production. It was distilled in traditional worm tubs and two copper pot stills with particularly long lyne arms, which stop the mash from scorching. The spirit then matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks. It is bottled at 50% ABV, without added colour or chill-filtration.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
