Ardnahoe – Infinite Loch (50%)

Infinite Loch is the first core release of Ardnahoe Islay single malt. Its name comes from Loch Ardnahoe, the distillery's water source, which lies a stone's throw away and is known as Islay's infinite loch because nobody knows how deep it runs. The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 50% ABV, without artificial colour and without chill-filtration. The nose brings Islay peat with sea spray and dark chocolate. On the palate come menthol, fresh fruit and bonfire notes, leading to a smoky, peppery finish.
