AD 07.21:05 is a single malt from Ardnamurchan on Scotland's western Highland peninsula, bottled in 2021 at 46.8% in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from both peated and unpeated barley and matured in 35% sherry casks and 65% bourbon casks. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose combines gentle maritime peat smoke with honey, orchard fruit and baking spices. The palate is rich and oily, with caramel, sea salt, stewed apple and malted biscuit, plus light tobacco and pepper. The finish is long and warming, with sweet peat, dried fruit, oak and a coastal brininess.
