The third Ardnamurchan release from Adelphi, issued as a work in progress and matured in a first-fill ex-sherry cask. It is bottled at 55.3%, without added colour and unfiltered.
The nose brings mango, orange peel and cherry, with cask influence and a light hint of smoke. In the mouth it is well balanced, with an oily texture. The smoke grows in the finish alongside the sweet sherry note of the PX casks, and a peppery spice rounds it off.
