AD/ is a single malt from the Ardnamurchan distillery in the West Highlands, founded in 2014. It is made from half malted barley and half peated malted barley, matured in sherry and bourbon casks and bottled at 46.8% ABV.
The nose shows fruit and spice with beeswax and dried fruit, followed by sea spray, shellfish and gentle smoke. The palate is full and intense, with pastry and spice notes balanced by salty, smoky ones and a delicate layer of peat.
