This is the 2023 Cask Strength release from Ardnamurchan, a Highland single malt bottled at 57.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines 87% peated spirit with 13% unpeated spirit.
The whisky was matured in a mix of 90% bourbon barrels and 10% sherry casks.
On the nose, coastal peat smoke gives way to vanilla and bright citrus. The palate brings maritime peat and ripe orchard fruit, with warm oak and a little black pepper.
