Ardnamurchan Madeira Cask is a single malt from the Ardnamurchan Distillery, distilled in 2018 and bottled on 22 January 2025 at 52% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Madeira casks.
The spirit is a 60/40 combination of unpeated and peated.
The nose has brown sugar, cocoa, biscuits, red fruit, nut praline and a little peat. The palate is oily and balanced, with red fruit, soft spices, tannins, cinnamon, pine needles, pepper and a smoky touch. The finish starts dry and closes with a sweet note of cherries.
