Ardnamurchan Madeira Cask is a Scottish single malt from Ardnamurchan Distillery, bottled at 52%. It is finished in casks that previously held Madeira wine, which gives it an intense fruitiness along with a gently sweet, spicy character.
The nose offers dried fruit, candied citrus, caramel and vanilla, with a faint touch of smoke. The palate is rich and powerful, with ripe fruit, warm spices, chocolate and light peat smoke. The finish is long, marked by spice and the fruit of the Madeira cask.
