A French Armagnac distilled in 1991 and aged for decades in oak barrels. Deep amber in colour, it has a sophisticated bouquet of plum, vanilla, cocoa, spices and a light hint of cedar wood. On the palate it is velvety, almost creamy, with mature fruit, roasted notes, tobacco and leather. The finish is long and pleasantly spicy, leaving a warm, enveloping aftertaste. It is suited to being sipped neat, perhaps with a good cigar.
